Nella Young

Nella Young is an experienced professional in the field of community development and design leadership. She served as the Senior Program Director of Design Leadership at Enterprise Community Partners, a national nonprofit organization focused on housing and community development, from January 2016 to January 2022.2

During her tenure at Enterprise Community Partners, Nella worked on transforming community development through innovative approaches.5 Her background includes expertise in urban planning, experiential education, and outdoor leadership, with a focus on topics such as infrastructure for active living.6

Nella's career has since progressed. In 2022, she joined Isaacson, Miller, a prominent executive search firm, as a Senior Associate.3 This move demonstrates her continued involvement in leadership roles within the nonprofit and community development sectors.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Nella is actively involved in environmental leadership. She is a 2017 Senior Fellow of the Environmental Leadership Program's New England Regional Network (NERN) fellowship program. In 2022, she joined the board of the Environmental Leadership Program and was elected Secretary in 2023.4
