I oversaw a 50+ athlete rowing team and a 7 person executive board during my junior and senior years. My team and I led the organization's massive growth from a 25 to 50 person program, added $100,000 in assets to the team and began the rebirth of the Waterfield Cup Regatta, the team's own race in April of every year.

I served high profile organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, whose attendees included Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, and Bill Marriott. In addition, I interacted with a culturally diverse staff, communicating in Spanish during most of the day.

I also developed a 2-year plan with a financial, operational, and athletic focus as well as a boat purchasing guide, emphasizing how to use the row2k service including a section on how to value the true price of a boat.

As a Christmas tree employee, I cut down, bailed, and organized the various 20,000 Christmas trees at Spruce Ridge Tree Farm. During the holiday season, I engaged with customers using my knowledge of the farm and the different trees to sell, cut down, bail, and put the trees on top of customers vehicles. I work at the farm every fall semester during the holiday times.

Throughout the restaurant at Stoneleigh Golf and Country Club, I have a diverse range of responsibilities including: running and operating the event staff during weddings, banquets, and private events; prepping and cooking food for the restaurant; and keeping up with multiple miscellaneous responsibilities that come with a kitchen environment.

My responsibilities included working primarily in the several data-centers near the Ashburn Dimension Data office. I worked mostly with the hardware associated with the hosting and cloud storage department of the company. This included anything from unpacking large servers, switches, and routers; mounting said equipment into the data-center racks; and cabling and connecting each device so that they are remotely connected. Other responsibilities include: troubleshooting connectivity issues; replacing and adding internal storage within servers; and organizing the data-center office space.

Being the Virginia Tech representative for Course Hero, my responsibilities included: analyzing and uploading notes and documents to the Course Hero online document portal; reaching out and communicating with other students about Course Hero's mission and recruiting them to join my team; and completing weekly seminars involving social media, communication, and recruiting. Course Hero operates on the core principle that online notes and resources can facilitate the success of many high school and college student's needs all the while donating to the cause of childhood literacy in developing countries in Africa.

In terms of the main outside functions at Stoneleigh Golf and Country Club, my responsibilities include: washing, restocking, and re-staging golf carts; managing and restocking the golf range; chipping range, and putting range; and keeping up with the various miscellaneous duties throughout a typical day at the golf course. Since Stoneleigh is a private course, interaction with the 200+ members is a key factor to the success of my job.
