Neil Littman, a healthcare investor and founder and CEO of Bioverge, has had an impressive career in the healthcare industry. Littman holds a Bachelor's degree in Molecular, Cellular, & Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder, as well as a Master of Science in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University. Initially, Littman began his career in healthcare investment banking, advising biotech and healthcare companies on transactions totaling over $1B. Subsequently, he transitioned to venture philanthropy, where he was a member of the Executive Leadership Team at the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM), helping to develop the long-term strategic plan to manage and invest $3 billion in the regenerative medicine sector. It was Littman's experience at CIRM that inspired him to create Bioverge, a portfolio of early-stage healthcare venture capital investments. Before founding Bioverge, Littman joined one of his portfolio companies, Notable Labs, where he led their business development efforts through the successful completion of their $40M Series B. Neil Littman's background in investment banking and venture philanthropy has enabled him to invest in early-stage healthcare and biotech companies, focusing on stem cell-based therapeutics and technologies targeting major unmet medical needs.
