Prior to his tenure at Capital One, Neil gained extensive experience in cybersecurity with organizations like IntercontinentalExchange, Inc. (NYSE) and NYSE Euronext. He has also been actively involved with ISACA, holding roles such as ISACA Ireland Conference Chairman, Research Director, and Member of the Cybersecurity Task Force.

Neil's professional journey includes positions such as Information Security Manager at NYSE Euronext, Senior Information Security Specialist at Allied Irish Bank, and Network Security Engineer at Intel (Ireland). His expertise extends to areas like compliance management, security governance, and risk assessment.

A certified professional with credentials like CISSP, CISM, CRISC, and CISA, Neil Barlow is well-versed in industry standards such as PCI-DSS, SOX, GDPR, and NIST. He is also proficient in cloud security platforms like AWS and GCP, along with methodologies like DevSecOps and Agile.
