Neeta Das

Neeta Das is a skill enthusiast, citizen of the world, and former Director at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Her dedication to skill development as a crucial part of employment and development strategies led her to conduct in-depth research on vocational training in India. Through her work with CII, she was instrumental in crafting the first National Policy on Skill Development, which aimed to create a consultative and mature skill development system in India. Neeta's years of experience with decision-makers, industry leaders, and international partners prepared her to effectively move from policy to action and create long-lasting impact. She currently serves as an International Skill Expert at her self-employed business and continues to nurture and develop skill systems worldwide.
