Nazim's entrepreneurial journey began in 2005 when he ventured into the realm of personalized artwork by co-launching DNA11, utilizing his expertise in genetics and software engineering to transform DNA into unique pieces of art. This innovative venture gained international recognition, with products being sold in prestigious establishments like MoMA's Design Stores.

Building on his success with DNA11, Nazim recognized the emerging trend of mobile photography and co-founded CanvasPop.com in 2009. Serving over 1 million customers worldwide, CanvasPop quickly established itself as a leading player in the photo-to-art industry, culminating in its acquisition by Circle Graphics in 2021.

In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Nazim is deeply involved in the startup ecosystem, having held roles such as Co-Founder & CEO at Creative Layer, Mentor at Founder Institute, and Member of the Board of Advisors at Invest Ottawa Accelerator Program.
