Naz Malik

Naz Malik is a talented software engineer and entrepreneur with an impressive educational background. He attended Reigate Grammar School where he excelled in his A Levels, achieving an A*, A, A, A in Maths, Economics, History, and Geography. He went on to study Psychology at UCL, receiving a high 2:1 degree. Naz is a co-founder of Onfolk, a company building HR and payroll software, and has participated in Y Combinator's startup program as part of batch S21.

Before his entrepreneurial journey, Naz worked at Monzo Bank where he held several backend and full-stack engineering positions, including Backend Engineer for Monzo Plus and Monzo Premium, Backend Engineer for Financial Crime, as well as Technical Specialist and Full-Stack Engineer for Customer Operations. Prior to joining Monzo, Naz worked as a Software Engineer at Comsec International Ltd and a Research Assistant at University College London. He also has experience in journalism, having worked as an Investigative Journalist for Ecostorm and an Article Writer/Copywriter for various publications. In addition, Naz has worked as a Teacher at Pal Ewam Namgyal Monastic School and as a Bookseller at Waterstones.

Naz's diverse professional background has equipped him with a unique set of skills, including software development, entrepreneurship, investigative journalism, research, teaching, and customer service. His specialization in HR and payroll software development has made him a valuable asset to the startup community.
