Nathan Selden

Nathan R. Selden, M.D., Ph.D., is the Dean of the School of Medicine and Executive Vice President at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU).13 He was appointed to this position on June 20, 2024, after serving as interim dean since February 2024.12

Dr. Selden is a professor of neurological surgery and holds the Mario and Edith Campagna Chair in Pediatric Neurosurgery at OHSU.1 He joined OHSU and OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital in 2000 as an assistant professor of neurological surgery.1 Throughout his career at OHSU, he has:
