Nathan Salapatas

Nathan Salapatas is a Senior Adviser in the Accelerating Business Growth team at KPMG, specializing in R&D, grants, and innovation. He's a passionate professional with experience in assisting organizations invest in R&D and access R&D tax credits and relevant government grants and incentives that help them create long-term value and gain competitive advantage for Australia. Nathan is currently completing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting from the University of South Australia. He's also studied Accredited Derivatives Adviser Level 1 (ADA1), Options & Warrants, and South Australian Certificate of Education at Christian Brothers College - Adelaide. Nathan has previously worked as an Equity Advisor and Associate Advisor at Baker Young Stockbrokers, developing expertise in securities and managed investments, and as a Customer Service Representative at Commonwealth Bank of Australia. He's also a Work Experience Intern at SA Power Networks. During the past 5 years, Nathan has seen his clients accessing approximately $350 million in grants across industry sectors such as clean technology, renewable energy, stormwater harvesting and reuse, engineering, wood and paper, health, automotive, and manufacturing.
