Nathan Roy

Nathan Roy is a seasoned professional currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Twitter, spearheading the modularization initiative for the Android platform.

With a strong background in programming and scripting, Nathan has a wealth of experience in Android development, having previously held the role of Tech Lead for video playback on Android from 2013 to 2019.

Before joining Twitter, he made significant contributions as a Senior Android Developer at SCVNGR, where he focused on the LevelUp mobile payment app, particularly on Android Client/SDK, and server-side code in Ruby on Rails.

During his tenure at Cisco Systems, Nathan worked on diverse projects such as the Android implementation of the Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client using Java/C++ and various Automation projects leveraging Python.
