Nathan Merritt

Nathan Merritt is a technology enthusiast, programmer, and Debian sysadmin with a lifelong passion for technology. He is keen on decision making, neuroscience, mathematics, and leveraging software for enhancing efficiency and promoting economic equality.

Nathan's expertise lies in building mobile apps, optimizing consumer-facing commerce flows, designing microservices, and implementing core architectures for enterprise data integration. He is proficient in Java, Python, various front-end stacks, including React/Redux, and has been actively involved with Debian for over 18 years.

He pursued a diverse educational background with a BA in Neuroscience, Mathematics & Computer Science from Bowdoin College. Throughout his career, Nathan held various positions at reputable organizations like Sandcastles Technology, Tamr Inc., TripAdvisor, and Two Fourteen Software, where he worked as a Freelance Software Engineer, Software Engineering Manager, Android Lead, and Co-founder, among others.

Additionally, Nathan Merritt served as a Network Operations Student Manager during his time at Bowdoin College. With a rich professional history and a broad skill set, Nathan continues to explore new languages and technologies to expand his expertise and contribute meaningfully to the tech industry.
