    Nathan Lui is a dedicated Ph.D. candidate specializing in Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Cornell University, conducting research under the guidance of Prof. Dave Collum, focusing on physical organic chemistry with an emphasis on spectroscopy, structure, and mechanism.

    His academic journey includes earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in urban studies from New York University Abu Dhabi, where he collaborated on projects related to firefly bioluminescence with Profs. Wael Rabeh and Pance Naumov.

    Nathan has a diverse educational background, having pursued an IB Diploma at UWC-USA, a Master of Science in Chemistry, and currently working towards a Doctor of Philosophy degree at Cornell University.

    Throughout his professional development, Nathan has gained experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Cornell University, a Visiting Research Fellow at the Rivera Lab for Supramolecular Chemistry at the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras, and as an Undergraduate Researcher in both Structural Biology and Biophysical Chemistry, as well as the Naumov Materials Group at New York University Abu Dhabi.

    His commitment to academic excellence is complemented by his past roles as a Swim Instructor and Lifeguard at YMCA of Greater Omaha, reflecting his versatile skill set and dedication to community service.
