Dr. Nathan Johnson, an Associate Professor in The Polytechnic School of the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University, is a leading figure in the field of energy and power solutions.
As the Director of the Laboratory for Energy And Power Solutions, Dr. Johnson is at the forefront of efforts to drive the global shift towards a resilient low-carbon economy through research, development, and commercialization initiatives.
His expertise encompasses grid modernization, microgrids, off-grid solutions, critical infrastructure, and workforce development, with a particular focus on fostering partnerships and initiatives that lead to impactful pilot demonstrations and scaled implementations both in the US and internationally.

Armed with a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering, multiple Master's degrees, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, all from Iowa State University, Dr. Johnson brings a wealth of academic knowledge and practical experience to his current roles.
His contributions to various organizations, including serving as a Member Board Of Directors at the United States Energy Association and advising at MK Advisors, underscore his diverse skill set and leadership capabilities in the energy and engineering domains.
