Nate Williams

Nate Williams is a highly experienced entrepreneur and independent investor/advisor based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

He is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of UNION Labs Ventures, a DeepTech seed fund, and has a rich history in the tech industry, particularly in IoT, Robotics, AI/ML, Wearables, and Autonomous Vehicles.

Prior to his current role, Nate served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Kleiner Perkins, where he focused on identifying opportunities in various tech sectors.

Nate's impressive track record includes leading senior roles in companies like 4Home, Motorola Mobility, Motorola Home, and August, overseeing successful exits for these companies.

Previously, Nate held key positions such as CRO & Head of Platform PM at August Home, CMO & Head of Business at Greenwave Systems, and Senior Director of Marketing & Business Development at Motorola Mobility.

His career also includes a tenure at Intel Corp in the Digital Home Group.

Beyond his professional achievements, Nate is actively involved as an angel investor and board advisor to numerous companies including Proxy, Shoof Technologies, SpinLaunch, Pattern Brands, and Matterport.

He also engages in mentoring with Techstars and Backstage Capital, serves as a board advisor to the Internet of Things Consortium, and volunteers for the Peninsula Velo Bicycle Club and Baywood Elementary.

Nate holds an MBA from The UCLA-Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Science from The University of Connecticut.

He is recognized in several Communications Infrastructure patents, known for his entrepreneurial spirit, and adept at building cross-functional teams to introduce products amidst market uncertainties.

Originally from the suburbs outside of New York City, Nate currently resides in the outskirts of San Francisco with his family and has a keen interest in stationary and racing bicycles.
