Nate Rawlings is an accomplished communication expert, journalist, and former soldier with an impressive academic record. Rawlings received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Princeton University before pursuing a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia. He also studied for a Master of International Affairs in International Security Policy at Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs. Rawlings served as a captain in the US Army and was deployed to Afghanistan for over a year. After serving his country, Rawlings transitioned to a career in journalism as a writer and reporter for Time Magazine. Following his time in journalism, Rawlings took on roles in various government agencies, including the White House and the US Department of State. Rawlings has also worked in the private sector as a Senior External Affairs Officer for Corporate Communications at the World Bank and currently serves as the Head of Communications at RockCreek. Rawlings's broad skillset and unique experiences have made him a versatile leader in communications and public affairs.
