Nate Gemelke

Nate Gemelke is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Director of Technology at QuEra Computing Inc., a company specializing in quantum computing technology based on neutral atoms. Nate Gemelke earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics, Engineering, and Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He then completed his PhD in Physics at Stanford University, where he focused on degenerate atomic Bose gases and topological phases under the supervision of Nobel Laureate Steven Chu.1

Before joining QuEra, Gemelke worked as a Research Associate at Harvard University, where he engaged in quantum information processing with neutral atoms. He also served as an Assistant Professor of Physics at Penn State University, specializing in laser cooling of atoms and many-body physics, and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Chicago, focusing on many-body physics and quantum information.135
