VSP is youth leadership development non-profit that supports underserved students from Valparaíso and Chile's federal juvenile detention and foster case system (SENAME). I taught weekly English and surfing classes, led environmental education field trips, and organized the city's largest beach clean event.

Led a successful campaign to commit Middlebury College to 30% "real food" (organic, humane, local and/or fair trade) by 2016  - the most ambitious goal of any institution in the country at the time. Led a team of student researchers, in partnership with the Office of Sustainability, to conduct a subsequent feasibility study for a 50% by 2020 commitment.

Built a roadmap for Dining Services to increase local food purchasing by 10%. Designed and deployed a new website, on-campus engagement campaign, and mini-documentary series to educate students about local Vermont farmers and food producers.
