As the HR Business Partner my role focuses on delivering an effective HR service to all our Leadership and staff across the schools we support. The role contributes to the delivery of the ODBST’s HR strategy, vision and values.

As the Business Partner for the ODBST, I Provide HR advisory expertise across the Trust and support both Leadership and Trust recruitment and selection. As a team we look at strategies to support employee development across the Trust whilst playing a key part to the delivery of the HR projects and strategic change.

Selection process and design for the Operations Control Centre
Following the acquisition of another European airline a new assessment event needed to be planned to deliver a large recruitment drive to support the increase in aircraft. This project included:
•	Working with the leadership team to design both behaviour and academic competencies for the delivery of the roles
•	Attraction strategy for talent
•	Training the OCC team to deliver the events directly

Selection of Cadets, Direct Entry First officers and Captains
Operated as a consultant working across the UK reviewing the selection of Cadets, First Officers and Captains for easyJet. Ran assessment events which looked behavioural and technical competencies and then made recommendations for the SIM. This project included:
•	Interpretation of Psychometric testing to identify areas of review in interview
•	Extensive interviewing and observations across an assessment day

Selection and attraction strategy for a large Finance recruitment project in the Head Office in Luton 
Following company growth, the finance team needed to secure further qualified finance professionals to ensure the management of company growth. This project included:
•	Design an attraction strategy for delivery
•	Look at skill optimisation across the function to identify potential internal talent
•	Manage a media agency for the re-design of marketing and attraction materials

Responsible for the management of recruitment for the Cabin Services and Flight Operations area of the business, including full responsibility for the direction of the Flight Crew recruitment team which included Cabin Crew and pilots across easyJet. This included the full lifecycle from planning and design to attraction and on-boarding. With a team of 12 we supported the network across Europe in ensuring crew were starting across the network in-line with the flight programme for each base. 
•	Reporting directly to HR, Flight operations, Cabin Services and Establishment planning, with a remit to deliver all flight crew across the network in 26 bases.
•	On-boarded more than 1500 flight crew candidates across Europe with airside ID’s.
•	Partnered the Head of establishment planning and Cabin Services to ensure delivery matched the flight planning requirements for the network.
•	Managed a media agency tender and selection and then partnered them for a re-design of all attraction material for Europe including campaign management, attraction review and cost per hire return. 
•	Worked strategically with the Management team to ensure we had visibility of growth, new bases opening and aircraft deliveries to ensure a strong pipeline of candidates.
•	Ensured the efficient implementation of operational recruitment plans and performance within the department, including monthly feedback on statistics and KPIs
•	Recruitment lead in the Project Management Team’s that opened two new bases in Germany and Italy.
•	Managed a Graduate Programme which allowed us attend events, university’s and colleagues and start to build a foundation of candidates to cement future requirements.
