Natalie Hilbrecht

Natalie Hilbrecht is a Supervising Engineer at ATCO Electric, based in Edmonton, Alberta. She leads the Distribution System Planning team, where her responsibilities include studying the impacts of large load additions and Distributed Energy Resources on the grid.23 Natalie has been with ATCO for 11 years, during which she has held various roles in both Transmission and Distribution, with significant experience in Distribution System Planning.5

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, focusing on Energy and the Environment. Natalie has also presented at industry conferences, such as the CIGRE Canada Conference & Exhibition.14 Prior to her current role, she served as a Senior Electrical Engineer at ATCO.3
