Natalie Chan is a multi-talented individual with a background in engineering, corporate leadership, film production, education, and entrepreneurship. She is also a Global Shaper at the World Economic Forum. Originally from Hong Kong, Chan embarked on a non-traditional career path that led her to emphasize the importance of attitude, self-awareness, skills, and networking in achieving success.
In 2016, Chan established OWN Academy with a vision to infuse purpose into education and unleash human potential. By bridging industry experts with students and linking creative individuals with progressive companies, OWN Academy aims to guide students in discovering their paths, providing modern skills training, and facilitating exclusive internship opportunities. Chan's remarkable accomplishments include being named a Cartier Women's Initiative Fellow and chosen as one of 50 young leaders from Asia to participate in the 49th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting.
Natalie Chan holds a Master's Degree in Education with a specialization in Designing Powerful Learning Environments from The University of Hong Kong. She also completed a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Southern California and studied at The Loomis Chaffee School.
