Narendra Joshi

Dr. Narendra Joshi is a prominent figure in the aerospace industry, currently serving as the Chief Scientist at GE Research. He has over 30 years of experience, particularly in gas turbine combustion technology related to aeroderivative and aircraft engines. Dr. Joshi has been instrumental in developing advanced propulsion technologies, including the Dry Low NOx Combustion technologies for GE Aeroderivative engines and the LMS100, the first intercooled aeroderivative engine. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook University and a BTech from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Additionally, he has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Coolidge Award from GE Global Research for his significant contributions to propulsion technologies.12
