Naomie Kadima: Policy & Business Development Advisor at Ipas

Naomie Kadima is currently a Policy and Business Development Advisor at Ipas in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).123 In this role, she manages clinical workflows and patient intake forms to ensure quality care and experience for uninsured and underserved women.2

Kadima has been with Ipas DRC for over 2 years, working to accelerate progress in gender equity, socio-economic development and health in the country.14 Some of her key contributions include:

• Collaborating with youth-led organizations to break the silence on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), reaching over 1 million youth with accurate SRHR information1
• Training over 100 trusted community youth leaders to serve as a bridge between the community and health system1
• Supporting the provision of over 5,741 abortion services to adolescents at Ipas-supported sites between 2019-20231
• Partnering with 25+ local youth-led organizations through Ipas' grant-making strategy1

Kadima has a Master's degree and previously worked as a Student at the Duke Global Health Institute.5 She is passionate about investing in the sexual and reproductive health of young Congolese women and girls as a pathway to accelerate progress in gender equity.1
