Naomi Joseph

Naomi Joseph is a PhD graduate student who specializes in diaspora populations, social movements, and women's rights. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and English from Michigan State University, a Master's in Public Policy from the University of Michigan, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Philosophy and Sociology from UC Santa Barbara. With years of research, writing, public policy analysis, and project management experience behind her, she has worked in various organizations, including Abt Associates, Financial Services Volunteer Corps, Innovations for Poverty Action, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Anderson Economic Group.

As a former Senior Analyst and Analyst at Abt Associates, Naomi acquired skills in designing and managing research projects, performing data analysis, and producing high-quality reports. Her former experience as a Program Officer at Financial Services Volunteer Corps allowed her to hone her project management and performance monitoring skills while working with international development partners. In addition to her core competencies, Naomi has a keen interest in empowering marginalized communities, promoting gender equity, and advocating for equal rights.
