Naomi Appelman

Naomi Appelman is an accomplished individual with a diverse educational background. She holds a Master's degree in Philosophy and another Master's degree in Information Law from Universiteit van Amsterdam, where she earned an impressive GPA of 8.5. Additionally, she completed her Bachelor's degree in the Keio International Programme at 慶應義塾大学.

In terms of professional experience, Naomi currently serves as a Ph.D. researcher at the Instituut voor Informatierecht (IViR). She has held various roles in different organizations, including being a former Student-medewerker at Pels Rijcken and Chair of the advisory council for the Central Student Council at Universiteit van Amsterdam. Naomi has also worked as a (project) researcher at the Institute for Information Law, Glushko Samuelson Information Law and Policy Lab, legal assistant at Van Doorne, and Gastonderzoeker at Algemene Rekenkamer. Furthermore, she has experience as a Stagair DJZ/NR at the Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken and has held leadership positions such as President of the Central Student Council and Chair of the workshop committee at the European Youth Parliament the Netherlands.
