Nanna Mikkelsen
Anthropologist
Nanna Søvsø Mikkelsen is an anthropologist with a strong focus on user needs and behavior. She is dedicated to creating sustainable development and fostering innovation by leveraging user insights. With a background in anthropology, Nanna excels in identifying various user roles and needs within social contexts. By immersing herself in the realities of individuals, she ensures that user wishes and requirements drive the development of new solutions, concepts, and structures. Nanna has a particular interest in social innovation and has conducted research on how municipalities and companies can enhance welfare solutions for citizens and users.
Nanna's core competences include qualitative research methods such as interviews, fieldwork, and participant observation. She possesses expertise in user analysis, stakeholder management, needs and behavior analysis, project development, coordination, and management, as well as evaluation.
Education-wise, Nanna studied Anthropology at Aarhus University, obtaining both a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree. Additionally, she pursued elective courses at the University of Southern Denmark.
Throughout her career, Nanna has worked in various roles, including serving as an Anthropologist at Freelance. She has also worked as a Research Assistant at Aarhus School of Architecture and contributed to projects at the Danish Technological Institute. Nanna's experience extends to conducting fieldwork and research on Social Innovation at the Centre for Policy and Business Analysis. Moreover, she has completed training programs at EUROCLIO and Changepilot ApS.
