Nancy Tarr is a skilled and accomplished professional with expertise in several areas, ranging from music education and performance to history and arts administration. She has studied Music, Music Education, Vocal Performance, and Theater, earning a BA from SUNY Oneonta and Magna Cum Laude honors from Hartwick College. She has also completed a Master of Arts in History/Public Programs from the Cooperstown Graduate Program. Tarr has held a variety of positions in the music industry, including Artist Relations at Tarr Music Company, Manager of Artist Relations at RECORDING INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA INC. and Singer/Songwriter at Red Velvet Entertainment. Tarr has also worked in arts administration as Director of Special Events at Operation Homefront, Curatorial Intern at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, and Executive Director at Well Dunn Foundation, among others. She is an experienced dialogue facilitator, emerging museum professional, and cultural historian with a passion for increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion through meaningful connections and opportunities.
