She holds a M.S. in Telecommunications Management from Syracuse University, a Ph.D. in Media Law, First Amendment from the University of Colorado Boulder, and a B.S. in Psychology from Saint Lawrence University.
Nancy has held various key positions in academia, including being a Professor at Montana State University-Bozeman, an ACE Fellow at The College of New Jersey and the American Council on Education, the Director of Special Projects at Montana State University-Bozeman, the Dean of the College of Arts and Architecture at Montana State University-Bozeman, and the Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs at Stephens College.
Her academic journey also includes roles such as Professor & Chair of Television-Radio Department at Ithaca College, Associate Professor and Department Chair at Linfield College, Assistant Professor at Western Michigan University, Director and Producer at AFRTS - Southern Command Network, and Asst. Dir. of Programming at Cablevision Industries.
