Nancy Broden

Nancy Broden is an accomplished user experience specialist with a strong focus on creating products that facilitate and enhance relationships. Currently, she leads a team of 6 designers at Google, working on server platform and application lifecycle management tools.

During her time at Twitter, Nancy served as the first dedicated product designer on the Growth team, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to enhance user engagement. She also played a pivotal role in designing the multi-platform experience for Qik, a real-time mobile video sharing service acquired by Skype.

With a diverse background in digital interactive agencies like Organic, Razorfish, Punchcut, and IDEO, Nancy has worked on an array of web, mobile, and desktop products for clients ranging from wireless operators to major tech brands like Disney, Qualcomm, and Microsoft. Her expertise spans user experience strategy, information design, usability testing, prototyping, and documentation across industries like E-Commerce, Technology, and Media.

Nancy's educational background includes a MA in History of Art from the University of Victoria and a BA in Art History from Carleton University. Throughout her career, she has held various key positions like Senior Manager of UX Design at Google, Founder of Clever Mobile Design, Co-Founder at Porchlight Apps, and Design Lead at Twitter.

Her professional journey also includes roles such as Sr. Director of Interaction Design at Tactel AB, Director of User Experience at Qik, Inc., and Sr. Project Lead at IDEO. Nancy Broden's rich experience across multiple organizations showcases her strong expertise in user-centric design and product development.
