Nadja Heine is a highly experienced mass spectroscopist with a decade of expertise in instrument development and structural analysis of small molecules, ionic clusters, and aerosols.
Nadja specializes in characterizing lipid and fatty acid oxidation to evaluate the impact of reaction products on food spoilage, indoor air quality, and flavor molecules.
With a strong focus on method development, Nadja is adept at utilizing a variety of analytical instrumentation types including ESI/DART-MS, HRMS, AMS, LC-MS, GC-MS, PTR-MS, as well as particle sizers and computational chemistry.
She holds a Dr. rer. nat. in Physical Chemistry and both M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Chemistry from Freie Universität Berlin.
Nadja Heine has held key positions in various prestigious organizations including Sr. Scientist Analytical Chemistry/Flavor Analysis at Climax Foods, Sr. Scientist Analytical Chemistry at Prometheus, Senior Scientist at JUUL Labs, Scientist at JUUL Labs, Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Berkeley Lab, and completed her PhD at Fritz-Haber-Institut der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft.
