Nadim Atalla
Building the world's first urban farm design software: Agritecture Designer
Nadim Atalla is the Product Manager at Agritecture, responsible for improving and advancing Agritecture Designer, the world's first digital platform for urban agriculture planning.12 He joined Agritecture in April 2021, bringing with him a background in the solar industry and three years of engineering and programming experience.2
Nadim holds a BS in physics from Duke University.1 His passion lies in food systems, and his dream is to empower underserved communities to become food-secure and independent.12 Prior to joining Agritecture, Nadim worked as an engineer in the solar industry, where he developed automated tools for solar viability assessment.2

Nadim's interests extend beyond his professional role. He has personal experience with urban farming, having experimented with container gardens and outdoor hydroponic systems.2 He is also involved in sustainability initiatives, as evidenced by his work building a Johnson-Su bioreactor (compost pile) at his family's farm in Jordan.2
As of July 2023, Nadim's LinkedIn profile indicates that he has moved on to a role as Senior Product Manager at Cultivo, where he continues to work in the field of regenerative agriculture.3
