Dr. Myla Lai-Goldman is a prominent figure in the field of healthcare and biotechnology, serving as the Chair and Co-founder of GeneCentric Therapeutics, Inc.

With over 18 years of experience at Laboratory Corporation of America, Holdings (LabCorp), Dr. Lai-Goldman held key positions including Executive Vice President, Chief Medical Officer, and Chief Scientific Officer, where she oversaw strategic and operational aspects of 3 major genomic laboratories and led a team of over 700 professionals.

During her tenure at LabCorp, she spearheaded the development and implementation of over 400 clinical assays, demonstrating her expertise in clinical, scientific, and medical activities. Her role also involved fostering partnerships, managing licensing agreements, and overseeing acquisitions.

Post her tenure at LabCorp, Dr. Lai-Goldman transitioned to venture capitalism as a Venture Partner at Hatteras Venture Partners and established Personalized Science, LLC, a consulting firm that aids clients in the successful integration of innovative diagnostics.

Dr. Lai-Goldman holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Pennsylvania and an MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, showcasing her proficiency in the medical field.
