Murvah Iqbal is the co-founder and co-CEO of HIVED, a London-based startup focused on creating an environmentally sustainable parcel delivery network. Founded in 2021 alongside Mathias Krieger, HIVED aims to revolutionize the logistics industry by providing a delivery service that is both innovative and eco-friendly. Iqbal's entrepreneurial journey began after she and Krieger met during a university trip to Silicon Valley in 2016. They initially launched a venture selling advertising on delivery vans, which led them to identify inefficiencies in the logistics sector. This insight prompted them to pivot and establish HIVED, which now operates a zero-emission delivery service powered entirely by electricity.235 Under her leadership, HIVED has been recognized for its rapid growth and innovative approach, earning a spot in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for 2023.2
Beyond her professional achievements, Iqbal's background plays a significant role in her motivation as a founder. Coming from a working-class family with entrepreneurial roots, she aims to inspire young women, particularly those of Pakistani origin, to pursue their ambitions in the tech and startup world.
