Lead Software Engineer

In my role as Tech Lead, I take on the responsibility of leading software architecture and devising strategies to design and sustain PiniOn's solutions. We predominantly use Python and MongoDB in our applications, always with automated test coverage, along with Google Cloud Services and version control with Git.

Another extremely important aspect of my role as a leader is to engage, encourage cooperation, and develop the people within the backend team. To achieve this, I continually strive to enhance my leadership skills, reinforce teamwork through pair programming and coding dojos, create personal development plans and encourage best programming practices.

Technical Lead

PiniOn is a mission-driven data and impact solution that drives measurable operational, social, and environmental impact while bringing prosperity to communities. With more than 3 million active users, PiniOn helps companies, governments, and organizations solve business challenges and drive ESG and social impact at scale.

Key tools and technologies I used include Python, MongoDB, FastAPI, CherryPy, Pytest, along with cloud platforms like GCP and AWS, all managed through Git.

Senior Software Engineer

My team was responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the application used by the extensive member base of Cartão de TODOS. This product played a crucial role in streamlining financial solutions for over 3 million families across Brazil, yet it also posed formidable challenges associated with maintaining a large-scale application.

To tackle these challenges, we leveraged a robust set of tools and technologies, including AWS, Serverless architecture, Python, Chalice, MySQL, Git, and Gitlab CI.

Backend Tech Lead

My teammates and I initiated the team responsible for creating the technological innovation products for Cartão de TODOS company. Among these products were the associate's app, payment gateways, virtual wallet, and management system for franchisees.

As a backend developer, the primary focus was on developing scalable and secure APIs using Python, Django REST Framework and Chalice, with MySQL and DynamoDB as databases for various applications and needs. The entire environment was deployed on AWS and versioned with Git.

Backend Developer

I came back to lead the backend team with aim of:
- Refacting the order flow architecture, and enhancing the system payment process;
- Keeping the RESTful API health and optimised;

Main tools: Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Puppet, Docker, Git, Stripe, Sentry, Kibana, New Relic and Travis.

As iOS team member, I helped the app architecture refactoring from MVC (objective-C) to a Viper Swift architecture with focus on performance, modularity and stability.
During this time, I also worked with my teammates to automate the deploy process of our application (and some whitelabels) using Travis, Fastlane and some Shell Scripts.

iOS Developer

I joined the team to develop and maintain the RESTful API used for the WhatsGood platform.
I was in charge of:
- Keeping the infrastructure integrity through server monitoring and continuous deployment;
- Planning and creating new features in squads composed by front-ends, designers and product managers;
- Keeping all code covered by automatic unit and integrated tests;
- Create new integrations with third party applications;
