Mudit Jain

Mudit K. Jain, PhD is a Founding General Partner at Treo Ventures, a venture capital firm established in 2018 focusing on medical device and digital health innovation.13 He has over two decades of experience in the medical device industry as an entrepreneur and venture capitalist.2

Jain is also the co-founder and CEO of NuXcel, a global medical device accelerator.2 His career includes roles at Johnson & Johnson's venture arm (JJDC) and Synergy Life Science Partners.1 He has served on the boards of several private and public medical device companies, including CVRx (NSDQ: CVRX), Avivomed, Neuspera, ShiraTronics, Neochord, and Noctrix.2

Prior to his investing career, Jain held operational roles in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Division of Guidant Corporation, where he contributed to developing novel device technologies for heart failure, remote cardiac monitoring, and cardiac ablation.2 He holds eight issued patents and has authored several peer-reviewed publications.2

Jain also serves on advisory boards for academic institutions, including the Board of Visitors of the Graduate School at Duke University and the External Advisory Board of John Hopkins University Center for Bioengineering Innovation and Design.2
