Jesenia Hernandez, also known as Mspm Jesenia Hernandez, is a communications professional currently working at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) since early 2023. In her role, she supports the Energy and Environment Directorate. She holds a Master’s degree in Communications and Leadership from Gonzaga University, which she obtained in 2020, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the same institution in 2016.1
In addition to her academic achievements, Hernandez has over eight years of experience in event management and communications, having worked previously with organizations such as Mid-Columbia Libraries and FirstFruits Farms, LLC. She is recognized for her community service, having completed a 10-month term with AmeriCorps and receiving the Bronze Presidential Service Award for her volunteer efforts.1
Hernandez is actively involved in her local community in Pasco, Washington, where she resides with her two children. She engages in various activities outside of work, including writing poetry and mentoring youth.1
