MSc Fernanda Machado

Fernanda Machado, holding an MSc in Architecture, Technology, and City from the University of Campinas, is a dedicated professional assisting organizations in the public and private sectors with aligning their business strategies with digital transformation.

Currently working as a Technical Specialist at Brazilian Autodesk in São Paulo, her expertise lies in project design and planning using the Building Information Modeling (BIM) paradigm.

Fernanda is a committed volunteer at BIMe Initiative, where she drives research for innovation and translates the BIM Dictionary into Portuguese.

Her notable achievements include winning the ABRAFAC Academic Innovation Award in 2019 and receiving an honorable mention at the 3rd BIM Excellence Award from Sinduscon-SP in 2018.

With a background in architecture and urbanism from the Federal University of Bahia, Fernanda also holds a specialization in BIM Management from SENAI CIMATEC.

In her previous roles, Fernanda was a partner at Nucleo de Inovação BIM (NIB), focused on BIM consulting, modeling, and training. She also contributed as a researcher of technological innovation at INOVAPoli/UFBA and UNEB Innovation Agency.

Furthermore, Fernanda's teaching experience includes lecturing in the Master BIM Specialist Program at ISITEC SP and the Master in Business Innovation BIM Program at SENAI CIMATEC.
