Moya Caddy
Community Manager
Moya Caddy is a British-born community manager and educator, best known for founding Super Mums of India, a support network for mothers in India. She has been living in India for over sixteen years, having initially come to the country during a gap year after school. Following her diploma in Montessori training, she moved to Bengaluru in 2008, where she met her husband and decided to settle down permanently.12
In 2012, Moya started Mums of Bangalore, which evolved into a significant online community that has grown to over 27,500 members. The group serves as a platform for mothers to share experiences, seek advice, and support each other through various challenges related to motherhood. Moya emphasizes the importance of real-life experiences shared within the community, which she believes are more beneficial than generic online searches.1
Under her leadership, the community has expanded its focus to include women aspiring for motherhood and those facing difficulties such as domestic violence. Moya also initiated the Daughters of India Foundation, aimed at helping children who have been victims of abuse.1 In addition to her community management role, she oversees educational programs at SASE (System for Alternative Schooling and Education) and actively engages with her community through various initiatives and events.234
