Motomitsu Kaetsu

Kaetsu Motomitsu is a bilingual, award-winning director and cinematographer known for his expertise in digital and film production, with a strong background in directing, editing, and producing various genres such as documentaries, music videos, dramas, and commercial films.

With experience in both digital and 16mm/35mm film formats, Kaetsu has been recognized for his exceptional skills in cinematography. He has served as an Official Non-Linear Video Editing trainer for Japanese government ODA projects and has worked with prominent organizations like Bhutan National Broadcast and Radio Television de Djibouti.

Apart from his practical work, Kaetsu is a certified trainer on Apple Pro Applications, specializing in Final Cut Pro and MacOSX. He boasts extensive teaching experience in Non-Linear Video Editing and various Apple consumer software applications. Moreover, he possesses advanced knowledge of graphic and image processing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Kaetsu Motomitsu holds a Master's degree in Visual Arts from Nihon University Graduate School and a Bachelor's degree in the Department of Cinema, Director Course from Nihon University College of Art. He currently serves as the President of Raybase LLC and has held key creative positions at Professional Video and Film Service, SET, and Apple.
