Mostafa Alwash

Dr. Mostafa Alwash is a seasoned expert in Text Mining, Digital Marketing, and Natural Language Processing with a passion for solving real-world problems through a multidisciplinary content approach.

With a rich educational background, Mostafa completed his Bachelor of Applied Science with First Class Honors in Software Engineering in 2012, and went on to lead two IT solutions to the Top-15 finals of the Microsoft NZ Image Cup in 2013 and 2014.

Having obtained his PhD in Information Science from the University of Otago in 2019 and a Postdoc in the UK in 2020, Mostafa currently serves as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oslo, specializing in extracting business knowledge from social media, interdisciplinary machine learning, digital branding, unstructured data, text mining, statistical modeling, value propositions, and value co-creation.
