Moritz Neun is a highly accomplished professional in the fields of Geographic Information Science, Cartography, Computer Science, and Data Science. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the University of Zurich, as well as a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from Université de Fribourg/Universität Freiburg.

With a diverse and extensive career, Moritz Neun has held significant positions in reputed organizations. He currently serves as the Head of Research at HERE Technologies, a global leader in mapping and location technology. Previously, he was the Director of Data Science at HERE Technologies, showcasing his expertise in data analysis and interpretation.

Moritz Neun has also contributed to the field of artificial intelligence as a Scientific Advisor at the Institute of Advanced Research in Artificial Intelligence (IARAI). His technical acumen is evident from his past roles as a Senior Principal Engineer specializing in ML Infrastructure Research at HERE Technologies and as a Tech Lead in Big Data & Analytics both at HERE Technologies and at Karhoo.
