Monique Windley

Monique Windley is a Senior Postdoctoral Scientist with a focus on the physiology and pharmacology of ligand- and voltage-gated ion channels, particularly hERG channels.

She holds a Bachelor of Medical Science (honours) and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neuropharmacology from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Monique Windley's current research centers on understanding the mechanisms associated with drugs blocking hERG channels and their impact on cardiac rhythm disturbances to improve proarrhythmic risk prediction.

Previously, she has held positions as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of New South Wales.
