Monique Reid, MS

Monique Reid is an accomplished biomedical engineering student with an impressive track record of working in the medical device industry. She has a diverse set of skills that include Quality Control, Manufacturing Processes, SolidWorks, Prototyping, Teamwork, Leadership, and MATLAB. Her passion for the field has led her to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at North Carolina State University, which she is on track to finish in May 2021.

Monique is also an experienced Design Engineer Intern at EsurgiBiotech and former COO & Co-Founder of The GirlFriends App. She has also served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University's Movement Biomechanics Lab (MoBL), a Supplier Quality Engineer at Edwards Lifesciences, an R&D Co-op at Ethicon, Inc., a Summer Undergraduate Research Assistant in Bioengineering & Mechanical Engineering at the National Science Foundation (NSF), and a research assistant in the Williams Laboratory (Department of Chemistry) at North Carolina State University.
