Monica Sack is an experienced Manager with a strong background in staff management, program development, event planning, logistics, editing, public speaking, and cross-department communication.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from Portland State University and has also studied English at Western Oregon University.
Monica has held several key positions at SXSW, including Senior Director of Conference Programming, Head of Programming Advancement, and Senior Programming Advancement Manager. In addition, she has served as the Interactive Speaker Assistant (ISA) Program Coordinator.
Prior to her roles at SXSW, Monica worked as an Office Coordinator at Pulse Health LLC and as an Office Manager/Executive Assistant at Beanstalk Technology, Inc.
