Political Director at Annie's List
Monica Gomez serves as the Political Director at Annie's List, a Texas-based organization dedicated to recruiting, supporting, and electing pro-choice women to state and local office. She has been instrumental in training over 1,000 women to run for office and has developed one of the largest campaign staff training programs in the country. Under her leadership, Annie's List achieved significant electoral success, winning 31 out of 37 races in which it invested during the 2018 election cycle.1
Gomez's political career includes notable achievements such as managing successful campaigns for State Representatives Lina Ortega and Victoria Neave. In 2014, she played a key role in defeating an incumbent to elect her father to the New Mexico House of Representatives. Her connection to Annie's List began in 2016 when she transitioned fully into Texas politics.1
