Monica Adractas is a prominent figure in the Growth Equity investment sphere, currently leading the Growth Equity investing division at CPP Investments Private Equity in San Francisco, a globally renowned $400B+ investment management organization.

With a background deeply rooted in technology and a proven track record of building, leading, and investing in high-growth companies, Monica's expertise spans the entire company lifecycle, from startups to established public companies.

Joining CPPIB in 2019, Monica spearheaded the VC program, forging partnerships with over 20 top VC/growth managers and orchestrating direct investments amounting to multibillions in Assets Under Management for the Private Equity department.

Prior to her role at CPP Investments, Monica co-founded Workplace by Facebook, an enterprise SaaS venture leveraging Facebook's technology to amass 30,000 paying enterprise customers and 3 million users, taking the business from alpha stage to substantial growth.

Before her tenure at Facebook, Monica made significant contributions to Box, a leading enterprise SaaS firm, particularly in developing programs that fueled customer growth, instrumental in Box's successful IPO in 2015.

Monica also played a pivotal role in driving growth strategies at Starbucks Coffee Company as part of the New Ventures team, focusing on building long-term growth platforms through acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
