Minkov joined Flexcompute in June 2020 after leaving Stanford University.3 He was a Research Scientist specializing in Electromagnetic Inverse Design at Flexcompute Inc. as of March 2023.2 Before joining Flexcompute, Minkov was part of Shanhui Fan's group as of June 2016, and in February 2016, he was in Vincenzo Savona's group at EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland.3 He was honored with the Chorafas Foundation award in October 2015, which promotes excellence in scientific research.3 In June 2014, EPFL News wrote an article about his work.3 Minkov graduated from Jacobs University Bremen, Germany, in June 2010.3 In the summer of 2009, he worked at COLLAPS-ISOLDE.3
