Mollee Marcus is a highly skilled professional with a background in information architecture, web design, and content management. With over 20 years of experience as a visionary entrepreneur and general manager, Marcus has a proven track record of creating innovative strategies and implementing winning solutions for both small businesses and enterprise-level corporations.
Marcus has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, another Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Arts from DePaul University, and a Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology diploma from the University of Chicago Laboratory High School. With deep-seated expertise in immersing herself into any business situation, Marcus excels at driving visions forward and intuitively implementing winning strategies.
Prior to 2013, Marcus was one of the inventors of the first web-based interactive pregnancy calendar and one of the original staff members of BabyCenter.com. Her previous venture, Pregnancy.org, was born in 2001 and was one of the top parenting and pregnancy websites. The site won numerous awards and recognition and was sold to new owners in 2011, but currently lives on as a customer community for Optum.
Currently, Marcus is the Senior Taxonomist & Product Recommendations (eCommerce Manager) at Office Depot, where she specializes in information architecture, on-site search solutions, content creation/management and web design, among other things. She has also worked at MBM Consulting, LLC in a senior-level position, and was the Founder and General Manager of Pregnancy.org / Alere.
