Mo'iad Alazzam

Mo'iad Alazzam is a dual certified Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and Subspecialist Gynaecological Oncologist with extensive expertise in complex gynaecological surgery including laparoscopy, robotics, and hysteroscopic surgery. He has received specialized training in robotic surgery in Cork, Ireland, and advanced laparoscopic surgery in France. Mo'iad is a passionate advocate for education, innovation, and research, actively participating in international collaborative studies and publishing in peer-reviewed journals. He is a sought-after speaker at national and international conferences and has held leadership roles in various medical councils, contributing significantly to the development of guidelines within the field. Mo'iad is also a founding member of the Oxford Placenta Accreta Group, showcasing his dedication to advancing research and surgical techniques in the management of trophoblastic diseases. With a focus on gynaecological cancers, Mo'iad's surgical expertise extends to ultraradical ovarian cancer surgery, endometriosis surgical resection, and reconstructive pelvic surgery. He studied at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and currently serves as a Consultant Gynaecologist & Gynaecological Oncology Surgeon at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
