Mohit Shenvi

Mohit Shenvi is a driven individual currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, specializing in terramechanics and tire-testing.

With a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mohit's research has delved into the impact of tread rubber compounds on tire performance on icy surfaces.

His expertise and interests lie in the automotive industry, focusing on vehicle dynamics, tires, and computer-aided engineering (CAE).

During his undergraduate years, Mohit interned in a boiler manufacturing industry, gaining experience in assembly operations and health, safety, and environment (HSE) practices.

Outside of academia, Mohit excels as a chess player and arbiter, having also organized sports events in corporate settings. He has volunteered extensively in event management, showcasing his leadership skills as the General Secretary of his department.

Mohit's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Sandwich Engineering with Distinction and a solid academic record from reputable institutions such as Virginia Tech, All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society's College of Engineering, and Fergusson College.

Currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech, Mohit has also held roles such as Graduate Teaching Assistant and Mechanical Engineering Intern at Thermax Limited.
