Mohit Pokharna, a passionate software engineer, traces his fascination with computers back to the age of 3 when he played his first computer game, sparking a lifelong interest in impactful software development.

Currently employed at Mercari, Inc. in Tokyo, Japan, Mohit contributes to enhancing the buying and selling experience through innovative AI technology. Notably, Mercari was recognized as one of the top 10 most innovative companies in the Asia Pacific region in 2021.

His previous role at Silo AI in Turku, Finland involved implementing AI solutions for various clients, showcasing his expertise in the field. Mohit holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and a Master of Science degree from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, specializing in Mathematics and Computing with a micro-specialization in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
